Description:

Construction of new 650m2 Packing Line while maintaining live working access for Glanbia operatives to milk loading bays.

This project included the removal of 1000m2 of PIR panelling & replacing with 2 hour fire rated rockwool wall & ceiling panels. In total, over 1500m2 of Eurobond panels were fitted including all flashings & sealing of joints.

Breaking out of existing concrete floors to facilitate installation of stainless steel drainage lines had to be carried out with electric plant & tools to prevent fumes entering live production areas.

600m2 of Argelith floor tiling was laid to falls on existing concrete floor slab in packing area. 50m2 of Ucrete was laid in loading bay areas & to RC concrete kerbs in packing area.

Other works included the installation of 7 nr. 2 hour fire rated automated roller shutter doors, installation of fire rated steel doors & installation of stainless steel drainage channels, kerbs & protective barriers. All stainless steel products were supplied by our CE certified sister company, Wallway Systems.

The work was completed in 12 weeks with 2 phases of 6 weeks each.
